These presentations helped me understand that making a difference does not always require doing something huge. Sometimes it starts with courage, kindness, or using you talents to help others and I really enjoyed learning about different topics. Some presentations focused on communication concepts that we learned in class, while others focused on important changemakers who made a difference in society. I thought the presentations were interesting because they were educational, but they also showed how one person can create change and inspire others. Each presentation taught me something new and gave me a different view on communication, leadership, courage, and helping others.

What I found very helpful was the study guide that covered Chapters 6,7,8 and 11. These chapters focused on listening, interpersonal relationships, conflict management, and public speaking. Even though these topics may seem simple, I realized how important they are in everyday life. The chapter about listening stood out to me because it explained how listening is much more than just hearing words. Good listening requires remembering information, analyzing messages, and responding respectfully. I think this is something many people struggle with including myself because we often focus more on what we want to say instead of truly listening to others.

Chapter 7 interpersonal relationships also made me think of my own life. Relationships are something everyone experiences, whether with family, friends, or coworkers. I learned that communication plays a major role in in building strong relationships. The chapter discussed self disclosure, feedback, and maintaining healthy communication. It reminded me that trust and honesty are important parts of any relationship. I also liked how my group explained that communication can either strengthen or weaken relationships depending on how people interact with each other.

Another topic that I found useful was conflict management. Conflict is something everyone experiences, and learning different ways to handle disagreements is important. The chapter explained competing, compromising and collaborating. Out of those options, collaborating seemed like the best approach because it focuses on finding a solution that benefits everyone involved. I think this information will be helpful not only in school but also future careers and personal relationships.

The public speaking is another one that I enjoyed. Since we have done presentations throughout the semester, I could relate to many of the concepts. The group talked about audience analysis, research, valid sources, and creating speech goals. This reminding me that speaking in front of others takes preparation and confidence. It also showed me how important it is to understand your  when giving a message.

A presentation that really caught my attention was the one about Billy Joel, known as "The Piano Man." Before this presentation, I knew Billy Joel was a famous musician, but I did not know much about his life outside of music. The presentation showed many different ways that he used his success to help others. What stood out to me the most was his involvement in mental health awareness. Mental health is a topic that affects many people today, including myself and students who deal with stress, anxiety, and personal struggles. Seeing how Billy Joel supported mental health awareness made me admire him even more.

I also learned about his work helping others and how he helped raise money for different causes. The presentation explained how he participated in benefit concerts and used his platform to support communities in need. I thought it was inspiring because it showed that being a successful artist is not just about fame and money. It is also about using your influence to make a positive impact. The presentation made me realize that music can be much more than entertainment. It can bring people together and help support important causes.

The presentation of Ruby Bridges was the one that impacted me the most. Even though I had heard her name before, I didn't know about her story. Learning about what she went through as a child was both inspiring and emotional. What stood out to me was that she was so young. She was only a little girl, yet she helped create a major change in American history. I cannot imagine being 6 years old and having to face the challenges she faced just to attend school.

Her courage amazed me because most children at her age are focused on playing and spending time with friends. Ruby Bridges had to deal with discrimination and diffcult situations that no child should have to experience. Even though she was young, she remained strong and continued moving forward. Her bravery helped break barriers and inspired many people during the Civil Rights Movement.

I also liked learning about the impact Ruby Bridges still has today. The presentation explained her actions helped create opportunities for future generations. Because of people like Ruby, schools became more integrated, and many barriers were challenged. Her story reminds me that one person can make a difference, no matter how young they are. out of all the presentations, her story stayed with me the most because it showed that courage can come from anyone.

Another presentation that I enjoyed was the one about Micheal Jackson. Most people know him as the "King of Pop" but this presentation focused on more than just his music. I learned about his influence on culture, dance, and social change. One part I found interesting was how the moonwalk inspired generations of dancers around the world. It showed how one creative idea can have a lasting impact on popular culture.

The presentation also discussed how Micheal Jackson helped break racial barriers in the music industry. I learned that he opened doors for many Black artists who came after him. This was something I had never really thought about before. His success helped create opportunities for other artists and changed the entertainment industry. It was interesting to learn how one person's achievements can create opportunities for so many others.

Another part that stood out to me was his humanitarian work. The presentation talked about how he supported charities, hospitals, and organizations that helped children and families. I was surprised to learn how much he donated and how involved he was in helping others. I also thought the information about We Are the World was very inspiring and beautiful because it showed how music can be used to raise money and awareness for people in need. It demonstrated that artists can use their talents to make a positive difference in the world.

Overall, I really enjoyed these presentations because they were educational, inspiring, and meaningful. each group presented different topics, but they all shared a common theme one person can make a difference. The study guide taught me skills I can use in my daily life, while the changemaker project showed me examples of courage, leadership, and compassion. Ruby Bridges stood out to me the most because she was just a little girl who helped change history. It amazed me that someone so young could make such a big impact on society. Billy Joel impressed me because of his efforts to support mental health awareness and help others through his charity work. Micheal Jackson also showed me how music can influence society and bring people together for positive change.

These presentations helped me learn new information, but they also inspired me to think about how I can make a difference in other people's lives. Another thing I appreciated was seeing the creativity of my classmates. Each group used different designs, images, timelines, and examples to make their topic more interesting. The visuals helped me understand the information better and kept me engaged during the presentations. I could tell everyone put effort into researching their topics and explaining everything clearly. It also gave me ideas for how I can improve my own presentations in the future. Seeing the different styles of presentations or slides reminded me that there are many ways to communicate information effectively and keep an audience interested. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I enjoyed hearing about the different people and topics that made a positive impact on the world.
